Synopsis: The disappearance of fifteen-year-old Sarah Leroy shocked the small town of Bouville-sur-Mer and moved the whole of France. A culprit was quickly arrested. Yet, in every home and every bistro, theories continued to be developed. What really happened, no one ever knew.
Twenty years later, Fanny, a journalist, returns to the scene of this tragedy that marked her youth. And a whole past resurfaces… Because Sarah Leroy’s story is also a bit her own, that of her sister Angélique, and that of a group of girls, “The Disenchanted,” who knew Sarah only too well. A story that smells of chlorine from the municipal swimming pool, of vows of friendship, and, above all, of the darkest secrets.
