Tentacle is a technology that allows you to synchronize image and sound while they are recorded separately.

You just have to connect it to the devices that record sound; for example the mixer with the boom and the camera with another microphone.

Then the tentacle injects a “TC” on one of the sound tracks, and in a second time you can synchronize with the Tentacle software.

It’s an accessory that has become almost indispensable for all types of filming, from fiction to reportage.
